    Hi Paul,

Having multiple interchangeable correct drop objects for multiple correct drop targets isn't currently something that Storyline can do. A solution to your problem may be to colour-code each 3x3 square. For example the red 3 is clearly meant to be dropped in the red 3x3 section of the board rather than the blue section of the board that also needs a 3. If the red 3 was dropped in a blue drop target it would be graded as incorrect even though technically it could still be correct according to the traditional rules of sudoku.

You could also force users to play the game by completing one 3x3 section of the board, one column, or one row at a time rather than by playing randomly across the whole board at once.

The other option would be to use a different method of user input. I personally would suggest using a combination of variables and numeric entry fields to achieve the desired result.

      Hi, thanks for your reply.

After some further thought, what I think I will look to do is have a 4x4 grid which has 4 different icons or numbers to drag and drop. The rule would then be you can’t have 2 of the same in any row (across) or column (down). I think I could do this as drag and drop but will have to have quite a few icons or numbers already in the grid to do it this way unfortunately. This is for a series of different quick games and doesn’t necessarily need to be overly complicated. I could potentially add a timer to make it more difficult.

if you have any thoughts on a different way to do the above it would be great fully received.

      thanks again

      Paul
