Thanks for reaching out here and following Matthew's recommendation to connect with our Support Engineers. I see that you're working with Vevette on this case (# 01039054) and she sent some additional steps for you to go through. Just keep us posted if you need more help!
Just following up on your case with Vevette and it looks like you shared some additional information about the LMS blocking access to the course through IE? Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with or if you get additional information from your LMS team!
hi Ashley, thanks for the follow-up. It looks like it's our LMS - Cornerstone that is causing the issue. I am now working with them for a solution. I will let the community know if I get additional info.
Hello, same here. Rise courses not working in Internet Explorer 11 and I made sure I did not have the compatibility mode on. I receive an error message.
What LMS are you using and what export option did you use? I'd like to know if you've also been able to test your course at SCORM Cloud - that'll give us a good baseline to know if it's an issue in the Rise course or how the LMS is receiving the information.
We use WBT manager for our LMS and I exported it as Scorm 1.2
I have not tested it at the SCORM Cloud, I’ll take a look and let you know what I find. If you have any suggestions that would be helpful. Please let me know.
That certainly does help Hue and unfortunately it means the issue may lie within your LMS and not the course. Have you followed up with your LMS team to understand if there are limits for IE11?
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
does anyone have guidance on this. We use Cornerstone and have the same issue. Works fine w/ Chrome but doesn't load with IE - which is a standard here.
I'm really sorry your Rise courses are displaying as blank in Internet Explorer. I'd start by taking a look at the steps here to resolve it in your LMS and browser set up.
We are using Cornerstone and while the LMS automatically sets all courses to launch in IE9, you can change that setting in your course upload to NONE. That resolves the issue and we haven't had any problems.

If your Rise content isn't launching in IE11, have you already checked the troubleshooting steps in this article?
You could also test your course in another environment such as SCORM Cloud (don't worry - it's free up to 100mb!) and if the course launches there, you'll know you need to work with your LMS team for more help. If the course doesn't launch there in IE11, we'd want to take a look at your Rise export.
We are experiencing the same issue with Rise courses in our LMS, Cornerstone. Was Cornerstone ever able to resolve your issue and if so, do you happen to remember the solution?

Thanks for the quick response Matthew! I already turned off the compatibility mode, but still not working

Hi John,
Did you get a resolution with Cornerstone? If so, what was it? We are having the same issue? Are you exporting as SCORM 1.2?

Hope that helps!
I sorted this issue by publishing only HTML5.
Makes no sense as IE shouldn't support it, but its the faster a module has worked in IE for months, and it's tracking correctly.
Thank you for the update Helen. I will try doing the same thing and see if it works for our LMS.
Have a great day!

Hi Helen,
Thanks for popping in to share how you worked through this. Are you using Rise? If so, how were you publishing previously?
Rise publishes HTML5-only courses that work in most modern browsers. See this article for a list of supported browsers. Rise courses don't use Flash Player.

Hey Craig!
Sorry this is still plaguing you! I'd agree with Ashley that testing the file in SCORM Cloud is a great next step. We're happy to help you with that!
Simply send us your LMS output file by clicking here, and our Support team will do the rest. Let us know your case number so we can follow along!

Hi John, I'm having the same problem. Did you find a solution?
