New Rise Feature - Cover Photos

Great new feature, have already updated my rise coffee course with this and flashcards :-)

In addition, it is a great design feature, I am delighted that the photo appeared in the video is a  hotel in Strbske Pleso in the High Tatras in Slovakia. Greetings from Slovakia :)

We would appreciate some light localisation possibilities of the player.

Wow, these cover photos are amazing, and they easily give the end product a very professional feel, excellent addition to the Rise feature set!

I was asking for this! 

This is an absolutely great feature. However, when I just posted in a Facebook group using the link from the [share] tab, It didn't render the course image cover in the page. This is a shame, take a look -

Is it the plan that these stock images are eventually going to be available from Content Library? I thought I saw something saying that they were coming to Content Library soon but now I can't find it.

Hi Stacy,

For the "start course" button, the background is set at White - but if you change the overall theme colors of your Rise course that would change the text color on that button. Depending on the cover photo you're using would that be enough to pop off the photo?

Are you thinking about the new images and items being added to Content Library soon? It was on the recent "What's new" info and these are coming soon as is integration of Rise and Content library which is coming Q1 '17.

No specific size. Just the larger the better. 

I'm interested in the optimal dimensions too. I'm trying to include some other elements in the cover photo, and how Rise resizes the image is very important for them to line up and not be cut off. 

Hey Todd, if you'll take a look at Adam's video from above, he elaborates a bit about responsive images, the recommendation to avoid images that require an exact cropping, and our suggestion to focus on a conceptual scene.  This starts around the 2:35 mark in his video.

Thx for the feedback. However, my employer wants a prominent logo on the homescreen when a Rise course launches. I'm trying to place the logo in the Cover Photo, but it moves around and gets cut off depending on the responsive resizing. The "logo" feature in the Settings we're finding inadequate. That resizes my logo down to 150x40 which is WAY too small. It would be very nice to place a "block" on the homescreen - that way we can customize it, make it look more sophisticated, add images, provide a list of instructions, etc.

When I go to browse cover photos, the image preview does not appear. I believe this just started happening today. I am using Google Chrome, but also checked it on Internet Explorer. Am I the only one having this problem?
