Are You Interested in Local Articulate User Groups?
Nov 24, 2014
Hey gang,
I'm looking to gauge level of interest in starting some local Articulate user groups; I mean interest in terms of attending, participating, and/or hosting these groups.
A user group is a gathering of people with a shared interest, in this case, Articulate software. These would be fun, casual, and informal get-togethers that allow people to network with other Articulate and e-learning professionals, learn new things, and share cool discoveries or projects they've created.
Let me know if you're interested in this idea and what city you'd like to see the user groups in by leaving a comment below.
Thanks!

Hi Shabana - there is currently a user group in Austin, the Central Texas Articulate User Group (CTAUG). The next meeting is Thursday, April 23, 1:30-3:30.
See the Events page on the CTAUG website for more information: https://sites.google.com/site/ctaugaustin/home
The group is looking for people to volunteer for running a meeting, scheduling presenters/speakers, and/or presenting.
Hope to see you there!
Thanks Victoria.
I'm interested in getting one going in Toronto, the GTA, or York Region (if you're near me you'll know where that is). I did try earlier this year, with not too much luck. The weather was no friend to us these last few months.
If anyone is interested in trying again, feel free to contact me through my site www.tracyparish.ca or via twitter @tracy_parish.
Hi Tracy, I saw a post on CSTD about a user group in TO. I came here looking for info on it. Do you know if something is happening or is there a link that I can access?
Hi, I know this thread is 6 months old, but I am based in Chicago and would love to network with other Articulate users!
Would definitely be interested in a User Group in Atlanta, GA
I'm working on starting an Orlando, FL group. Please go to this post if you are interested.
I'm starting one in Ottawa, Ontario! If you're interested in joining, let me know here.
And don't forget to check out this article to see upcoming events and existing user groups, and also complete this form to help us connect you with others in your area.
How about a virtual user group that meets by online meeting? I'm located in what can be called "Chicagoland" area, and nowhere is really convenient to anywhere else. I would think "areas" like "Germany" and "UK" and "India" would have similar problems.
Virtual works for me! I'm on an island in Alaska.
The Orlando User Group has a MeetUp space!! http://www.meetup.com/Orlando-Articulate-Storyline-User-Group/
