If ever you decide to fix this problem, I hope you will include not just bullets, but numbered lists as well. And all type of formatting should be included, like Bold, Italic, Underline and FONT SIZE!
This issue has been going for over a year now. Is there a timetable for when this is likely to be addressed, as this really should have been a feature set from the very start.
As Rise is essentially HTML5 and CSS, this is a very simple fix from a development point of view.
I totally get that you're frustrated. Unfortunately, I don't have any information right now about whether or not this is on the road map. I thought it may be helpful if I provided some more insight into how we handle feature requests.
First of all, it may be helpful for you to know that we receive hundreds of feature requests every week. As you can imagine, prioritizing such a large number of feature requests is no small task and we take it very seriously. Here's an inside look at how that process works.
Please know that we're doing our very best to bring our users the features they want and need as quickly as possible.
Thanks for chiming in, Desk 1! This behavior hasn't changed because the text editing tool we use doesn't easily support bullet formatting. We are tracking your input, however, and we'll let you know if plans change!
A temporary workaround for this issue would be to use a text bullet ( • ) instead. Just copy and paste that into your rise course in place of the built-in bullet feature. It defeats the purpose of a quick and easy list, but it works well enough if your priority is on design.
This works well with wingding and webding character sets as well. An easy way to add some imagery into Rise.
Yup, valid point! It works better for lists with brief points. It's not always going to be a viable work around. Let's hope for a solution from Articulate soon.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! :)
I would really appreciate it if this feature is still being considered!
Is there a fix to this yet?

Hi JC,
Thanks for sharing your feedback! Would you be up for logging a feature request to tell us more about your specific needs?
In the meantime, if there’s anything else I can do to help, please let me know!

Surely this is a feature oversight!?!
Another vote here! Seems like quite a quick fix?

If your priority is on design, you will want hanging indents in your bulleted lists. Not possible with this workaround.
I would want this:
