My pleasure. I ended up creating a blank page in Articulate Storyline that has blank text entry fields. I was able to just add that into my Rise project.
I have just completed designing a course in Rise and have included a knowledge check with 4 questions. The system is showing that we have completed the lesson, when I still have one question to answer.
Could you share a link to your Rise course with us here? I'd like to see how this is behaving. Also can you let me know what browser you're using to test this out?
FYI, that module would not load on to our LMS, SharKnowledge. The LMS did not recognize it as an eLearning so it would not load. When I removed the page created in Articulate Storyline 3 the module loaded perfectly.
Are you looking to add a multiple response question with more than one correct answer? While Rise doesn't have a multiple response knowledge check question yet, that would make an excellent feature request!
In the meantime, you could create a multiple response question in Storyline 360 and embed it in your Rise blocks lesson using a Storyline Block. 😊
Ashley, I am sorry I didn't see your response before now.
Actually, it was Articulate Storyline 360, my mistake. I did not receive any additional information on the error message. The LMS simply didn't recognize it as an eLearning.
We decided to go with a printable PDF because we needed to launch.
You can add videos and images as media to a question in a Quiz Lesson. I've seen audio mentioned by other community members as well, so that would certainly be a great thing to request here.
Audio can be included in the lesson types like the Process interaction, labelled graphic or timeline. You'll see in each of those when you go to add the individual items such as a marker in labelled graphic that they also have the option to include media or embed audio.
This is a great feature to have. I can quickly create knowledge checkpoints along my rise course. May I request for colour scheme customisation for the checkmarks and the rectangle colour for the correct and incorrect answer instead of the default course theme colour. If we select the red colour theme for our course, when the users get the correct answer, there is a red box around the correct answer with a red tick. User natural instinct kicks in and they think that they got the answer wrong. Would be great if we can customise it to be green box with green tick instead. Thank you.
That's a great point, Jimmy! Thanks for sharing that here. I also wanted to make sure you had this link handy to submit your feature requests in the future, to us right here. 😁
Hey Doug. Sounds like you would want to randomize the questions for your learners in Rise.
If you are thinking of doing this with Knowledge Check blocks, how about a Storyline block instead? You can create a question bank draw in Storyline, publish to Articulate 360, and bring that interaction into Rise in a block!
Quiz lessons in Rise don't randomize questions, but that's a cool idea that I'll share with our team.
Hi Chris. The "Take again" option appears by default after the learner submits their answer to a knowledge check. Let me get your idea documented for our team. Thanks for sharing!
Ashley, are you able to advise on how to include a Next button after the Knowledge Check results are tabulated (via pre-built)? I see the Knowledge Check feature within the blocks to be able to do so, however, I do not like being regulated to one question type (I need multiple response and fill in the blank).
Is it not possible to add a next or continue button after the results page? As the KC is the last page as of now, I want to add a page that completes the course.
Hi Dana! Knowledge Check blocks will be getting additional question types this year. We'll be sure to let you know when the next type is released! And you're absolutely right - Because they're blocks, you can add buttons or other blocks immediately after your Knowledge Check question.
Quizzes are complete, standalone lessons. If there is more content after the quiz (such as your course completion page), by default learners will see navigation to the next lesson at the bottom of the quiz result.
Hi there, wondering if there has been any update on being able to remove the "Try again" option on the Knowledge Check block? Since this is ungraded, and the user gets immediate feedback on what the right answer was (and there doesn't appear to be a way to turn that off), there's really no use for a 'try again' button.
The "Take Again" button will appear below a Knowledge Check question by design, but it sounds like you'd prefer the option to remove it. I'll pass along your feedback to our team--thanks!

Oh nice, David! I like that solution.

Is this a known bug?

Hi David,
Was it created in Storyline 3 or Storyline 360? Storyline 360 is the piece connected to the Storyline Blocks in Rise.
Did they share any more information in an error message with you?
Can we add multiple question in block section instead of single select question.
Hey Rajanikanth!
Absolutely. You can continue to add more questions to that block as needed. Check out this Peek Video.

No worries David, thanks for popping back in with an update. Glad that you were able to find something that would work well for you.

Is it possibel to hide the Try again on a Knowlegde Check Question?
After submitting an answer there is a link that resets the question. Is it possible to hide this link?

Is there multiple response in Knowledge Check in blocks, so there is more than one correct answer?
