I am an interactive digital design specialist. My passion is to create user experiences that are interactive, fun and meaningful. I employ my skills as a game designer, and instructional designer to develop new ways to design systems that change behaviors to benefit the user and client. For several years I was an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston in the School of Health Information Sciences, where I got much of my training by leading the Learning & Technology Program, which trains students in the design, and application of technology in education. I use my non-traditional background in neuroscience, learning and memory, cognitive science, psychology, and education, to create various technology-based learning environments.
