Comments Disappearing After Submission in Review 360

Hi,

I’m experiencing a problem with Review 360 where reviewers are posting comments, but these seem to disappear very quickly after being posted. While the reviewer believes they have submitted their review, I’m left with an empty review course. I’ve confirmed that this has happened with two different people on the same course. They have checked the review links, and the comments are also not showing up for them.

What makes it even stranger is that other people have been able to successfully post their comments on this course. For these comments, I’ve received notifications in my email, but I’m not notified about the disappearing ones.

I’ve already seen multiple threads regarding this issue on this forum, but no fix is mentioned anywhere. I’ve tried enabling resolved comments, turning comments off and on again, but to no avail.

At this moment, the unreliability of Review 360 means we cannot send courses out for review. Do you have any possible fixes?

Thanks!

CasMaassen I've been having the same issue on several courses for over six months. Are you still experiencing this issue? If not, what made the problem stop happening?

CailiWest I haven't actually had any new projects to send for review as yet, so I don't know if it is still happening. The only thing I could think that affect this was how colleagues accessed the review link. It may be that when I copied the link into an email, it didn't work for some people. But the system generated emails/reminders did work. I can't be 100% sure though.

I have experienced this for the 2rd time with now two different SMEs, on two different modules. I have submitted a support case.

        Hello ThiKhanhLinhTHA

I wanted to follow up as I do not see an open support case in our system. No worries! Did you happen to use a different email address to create the case?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

  • The missing Review 360 comments issue has happened to my team four times recently. This is where the reviewer has made multiple comments in the review and marked the review as complete. The developer then opens the course in Review 360 and there are no comments. It happened again today. I had the reviewer open the review, as well, and they do not see any of their comments. This particular reviewer is not new to Review 360 and has experience reviewing multiple courses successfully. I do have an open ticket on this issue and sent an update earlier today.

      Hi JeffSanto-3fcde

I'm sorry this is happening again! I know that's frustrating. Thanks for giving us an update here and in your case. I see you're working with my colleague Anna. You're in excellent hands! We'll continue the conversation over in your case, so everything is in one spot!

Same issue has happened again with another reviewer. It seems to only happen when I use the Request Review feature in Review 360 versus just sending a share link to the review.

Wow. It seems like a lose-lose for users. Since both ways of sharing fail, and only intermittently fail, we have no way to predict when this will happen and are stuck with the clean up (contacting SMEs, testing, getting them to resubmit and see if it works, etc.). This eats up development time, causes re-work for SMEs, and costs real dollars for users in time and energy.

A consistently working commenting function seems essential to a review tool.

Thanks for sharing! Hopefully Articulate provides a solution soon.

I just ran into this issue. One of my reviewers left many comments on one of the courses. In passing told me he submitted comments. However, I didn't see any comments.

I had him try again on a different course, and still no comments came through to me. However, I did the Requested Review, which was emailed directly to him, and he was able to submit a test comment that worked.

Now I need to follow up with 10 different reviewers and 20+ lessons to see if any other comments didn't come through.

Hate that this is happening to you, too, and with so many lessons. I hope Articulate provides a solution soon! A working commenting function seems essential to a review tool. It sounds like this is costing you time and energy that is unnecessary.

I am also having this issue, so this issue still exists in Review 360 in April 2026. One reviewer posts like normal, believed they went to me and that they'd be visible, and they are gone. He followed the same process of clicking my shared link, entering email, typing a comment, and clicking Post just like other reviewer. I've sent him a Review Request to see if that offers a different process that works. I'll update if it does work.

Is there any update from Articulate on workarounds or when this bug will be fixed?

Is there an existing ticket number we can reference for this issue? This is happening to us as well.

I'm the most recent one to experience this. We sent a course to our executive team for review, and I've received comments from my supervisor, our assistant director, and one of the deputy directors. One of the other assistant directors completed a review with multiple comments, but none have shown up. He's reviewed in Articulate for us before. We've not heard from the other executives.  I've submitted a case.

      Hi DawnJanis,

I checked your support case and see that your reviewer is now able to add comments which are showing up. I'm glad Lejan was able to assist you!

Seeing that there are many others experiencing the same issue I assume the bug is still present. We have a couple courses coming up for review, and I would like to know if this bug has been fixed or what steps we can take to mitigate this issue.

Is there any update from Articulate or the development team on a possible fix? LucianaPiazza

    Thanks!

I can see a feedback count of 5 in the top right corner. However, the corresponding comments do not appear in the comments panel.

Wow, okay. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I did see comments, adressed them all. Only to find that a few days later, earlier comments have appeared? Which I did not see before? What's going on?

    • Hi ISa,

Thanks for sharing your experience. I can understand how confusing it would be to address all visible comments only to discover additional feedback appearing later.

A few questions that may help narrow this down:

      • Were the newly visible comments left by the same reviewer or by different reviewers?
      • Are you seeing this behavior in one Review 360 item or across multiple reviews?
      • If you refresh the page or try a different updated browser, do the comments appear consistently?
      • Are the comments visible when you first open the review item, or do they only appear after navigating to specific lessons or sections?

Since comment visibility can be affected by several factors, we'd like to take a closer look at your specific review. If you're willing to share the Review 360 link privately with our team, please reach out to our support team here: https://articulate.com/support/contact/

We'll be happy to investigate further with you.

        Hi Eric,

Not 100% sure, but I think by different reviewers, on different dates. I only have one course in Review at this moment. After I saw the 'earlier unseen' comments, they stayed where they were. After navigating to specific lessons. I can't share this module, because of privacy regulations.

I'll keep an eye out for more content in Review with strange behaviour.
