Has anyone been successful loading a Rise course into LMS with Scorm? I wanted to test it out, so i exported as a SCORM and then i uploaded into my LMS and my LMS can't seem to recognize it. Has anyone else has this issue?
Hello Aida! Thanks for letting us know that you tested the output on SCORM Cloud that is working well. Hopefully a fellow Talent LMS colleague will chime in to assist here and you may want to reach out to them as well.
Looks like Barry in this thread was able to use that LMS successfully and I took a peek at Neuro's case and they were reaching out to Talent LMS as well.
I was wondering if you have any insights on the optimal storyline "story size" within Axonify. I am interested in how you are finding using Storyline in conjunction with Axonify.
Frederick's answer is a bit older, so I'm not certain if he is still subscribed here- but you could always use the "contact me" button on a ELH users' profile to reach out to them directly!
If you're using Storyline 360 you may want to take a look at the FAQs on our responsive player which would display in mobile, and if you're using Rise, here's more info about how it's inherently responsive. Best of luck with your project!
We are trying to upload a SCORM 1.2 package of Rise into D2L/Brightspace and the file is getting hung up in "processing" and won't complete. We have tried changing web browsers. Any ideas?
Were you able to export the package from Rise, and you're getting stuck with D2L? Have you reached out to their support team to help? One thing you could try to confirm it's not an issue with your Rise export is upload to SCORM Cloud - a great testing option for LMS content!
I am unable to publish my rise course to our LMS. I have tried Scorm 2004; Scorm 1.2, AI CC and XAPI (Tin Can) and nothing works. I have attached the error message.
I have some difficulties with a module made with Rise. I succeed in uploading the sample course (employee health and wellness), but when I try with mine, my LMS (saba) displays this error message:
Invalid content. ERROR: Failed to extract the manifest file from content package. POssible cause: The markup in XML document (manifest file) preceding the root element is not well-formed.
What export method did you choose for Rise? Does Saba require a particular LMS option (i.e. SCORM 1.2, 2004, Tin Can API, etc.) ? Also when you uploaded to Saba did you use the zipped folder or an unzipped version of the folder?
Hello Sheeba- we seem to having issues as well uploading RISE course in Success Factors. Any insight on how to get it to work? We seem to be stuck on the process step of knowing what file to point to...
Problem solved! I was launching the course using the incorrect html file. In SuccessFactors learning, the launch URL for the content object must point to "\scormdriver\indexAPI.html", not "\scormcontent\index.html". Please circulate this. Thanks!
Hello Ashlet ('et all) If I use your articulate survey (instead of survey monkey) for my courses, will the survey data collected show up in my LMS portal.
How an LMS reports on survey data can vary, so I'd check with your LMS team. The data will be sent by a Storyline Survey result slide if that's what you're asking.
Okay. So the results slide will contain data that can be broken down correct? For example, we will be able to extract on question 5 what % were highly satisfied and what % were highly dissatisfied?
That's right, Kimberly. The results slide is the thing that will send the data to your LMS. Once that data is compiled in the LMS database, there's really no limit to what kind of analysis you can perform (assuming the LMS grants access to the data)!
Like Leslie mentioned, you'll want to reach out to your LMS Administrator to find out what options they have available for reporting and data analysis.
Hi folks! If you're using SuccessFactors, here's some important information about uploading your Rise course. We heard that some of you were being prompted to identify the launch file, so we reached out to SuccessFactors. Here's what they said:
They are not required to pick which file they is set up as the launch file as long as the use the import tool which is available under Content>Tools>Import Content.
They may need to configuration a deployment location if they want to deploy the content files directly to the server.
OK. We tried the import option and that didn't seem to work. We will need to look into the configuring a deployment location option with SuccessFactors.
I can't get the notes to properly fit in the module. When I view the module some of the notes information is cutoff or hidden.. I have decreased the font to 10 but it still has some of the information cut off or hidden.

Hi Felipe. Were you ever able to find a solution to getting Rise to work in Mindflash? I have the same problem.

Hello,
I was wondering if you can import a course from Articulate Rise into D2L? Is this compatible?
Thanks,
Regards
Hi Lianet and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Not sure if your question was geared towards Natalie and any follow up information from her testing and results.
You are certainly welcome to reach out to the user directly via the 'Contact Me' option on the user profile if you do not hear back soon.
Instructions for publishing your Rise course for LMS upload can be found here.
I tested in our LMS and everything worked/looked great except for the storyline files I imported into Rise. They didn't show up correctly.
Hey Paige,
Sorry to hear that you ran into an issue with this.
Are you able to replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud as well or is this issue limited to your LMS?
Oh, or were you responding to the ability to publish Rise to D2L?
Just let me know how we can help :)

Hey Kimberly,
I know you must be struggling with publishing as I just responded to a similar question here.
Just linking for anyone following along and we can keep the conversation going over there if you'd like.

Hi Sheldon,
Based on another users post:
Is that the file you're trying to use?

Definitely keep us posted Sheldon, as it may help someone else with a similar SuccessFactors set up!
