We’ve all used maps at one point or another to help us understand where we’re going or to strengthen our recall of specific items and locations. Maps are an effective tool to use in e-learning to entice learners to explore new information with a familiar approach.

E-Learning developers use maps to show locations of objects, to guide learners from one point to another, share information about multiple places, or to help learners conceptualize themes with visual context.
